Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation Market Maker and Exchange Incentive Program Participant Regulations  CH

Article 2     For the purposes of these Regulations, the term “market maker” means a securities dealer that applies to the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TWSE) for providing bid and ask quotes of designated stocks within the prescribed time. The designated stocks shall include a certain number of specific stocks.
    For the purposes of these Regulations, the term “exchange incentive program participant” means a securities dealer that applies to TWSE for participating in trading of designated stocks within the prescribed time.
    For the purposes of these Regulations, the term “designated stocks” means stocks that a market maker or exchange incentive program participant designates, in the manner prescribed by the TWSE, of which to provide bid and ask quotes or participate in trading.
    For the purposes of these Regulations, the term “specific stocks” means stocks which the TWSE selects according to the issuance index and trading index and does not deem inappropriate.
