(Penal Provisions)<br/>Any person who promises to offer, agrees to offer, or delivers any improper benefits to any person who acts contrary to his/her duty as specified in the preceding Article shall be punished with imprisonment for not more than three years, detention, and/or a fine of not more than NT$1.8 million.<br/>The punishment of the offense specified in the preceding paragraph may be pardoned if the offender voluntarily surrenders himself/herself to law enforcement authorities.
