Article 173

Any person who offers, promises, or delivers any improper benefit to any person under the preceding article for a breach of their duties shall be punished with imprisonment for not more than three years, detention, and/or a criminal fine of not more than NT$1.8 million.<br/>The punishment for an offense under the preceding paragraph may be remitted if the offender voluntarily surrenders themselves.
