Article 8     When a securities firm begins conducting securities margin purchase and short sale business, it shall terminate any securities margin purchase and short sale agency business; provided that for any outstanding unsettled balance of margin purchases and short sales of customers originally represented by it, it may continue to act as the agent until the balance has been settled.
