A CSDE is engaged in the following businesses:
- Custody of securities.
- Book-entry services in connection with securities settlement and pledged securities delivery.
- Computer processing service in connection with book-entry settlement of securities.
- Service in connection with book-entry distribution of securities.
- Registration of issuance of book-entry securities.
- Other services as approved by the FSC.
