1.Enacted and promulgated a total twenty-three articles of the Act by Presidential Order Hua Zong 1 Yi Zi No. 10700060021 on July 6, 2018; The implementation date of the Act shall be stipulated by the competent authority.
Issued by Executive Yuan Order yuan tai hu zi No. 1070217128 on December 5, 2018. The implementation date of the Act was stipulated on January 1, 2019.
The Executive Yuan announced (Yuan Tai Gui Zi No. 1110184307) on August 24, 2022 that the authorities designated to the "Executive Yuan" for the following articles/paragraphs would be transferred to the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) effective August 27, 2022: Article 2; Article 5, Paragraph 1; Article 6, Paragraph 1; Article 7; Article 8; Article 12; Article 14, Paragraphs 2, 3, and 4; Article 15, Paragraph 2; Article 18, Paragraphs 3, 4, and 5; Article 19, Paragraph 2; Article 20, Subparagraphs 3 and 5; and Article 22.
The authorities designated to the "Executive Yuan" for Article 3, Subparagraphs 7 and 8; Article 4, Paragraph 2; Article 16, Paragraphs 1 and 6; Article 17, Paragraph 4; and Article 23 would remain under the Executive Yuan jurisdiction effective August 27, 2022.
